VŠE Master’s Programme Receives Prestigious International Award in Valuation

The Master’s degree programme Corporate Finance and Business Valuation (N-FO) at Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) has received the prestigious international Highly Commended recognition in the inaugural IVSC Global Showcase of Excellence in Valuation Education 2026, organised by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC).

The programme was recognised in the Award for Development of Innovative Curriculum for Valuation Programmes category, which focuses on the development of innovative educational programmes in the field of valuation.

More than 40 projects were submitted to the inaugural competition. The projects that advanced to the evaluation stage came from 16 countries across five continents, representing leading universities and higher education institutions specialising in economics, finance, engineering and other disciplines.

According to the organisers, the submitted projects demonstrated an exceptionally high standard of quality. In addition to selecting the winners in each category, the judging panel therefore decided to award special commendations to projects that stood out for their excellence in a highly competitive international field.

The Corporate Finance and Business Valuation Master’s programme received one of these commendations, with the judging panel recognising it as an exceptionally high-quality programme worthy of formal recognition.
