In lecturing, Barbora focuses on business valuation and since 2015 guarantees the course of Corporate Finance within the MIFA international master’s degree programme. She prefers modern forms of teaching, such as case studies, team work, and debatable issues for training in critical thinking. At the Prague University of Economics and Business, she has worked as a research team member in several external and internal grants and participated in the European grant of a consortium of 12 European universities. The present research work of Dr. Rýdlová includes the area of adequate remuneration for employee inventions, elaborated under the Czech Science Foundation’s (GAČR) grant. She targets her recent publishing activity mainly on the issue of personal goodwill or specific cases of settling joint property of spouses. In 2012, Barbora was awarded the Rector’s Prize for a prestigious publication and co-authoring of the book publication Advanced Business Valuation Methods (a more profound insight into the selected issues). She is an expert in the field of economysubdivision price and estimates, with a specialisation on business valuation, securities and intangible assets. Since 2010, Barbora has been a member of the advisory board of experts in business valuation at the Regional Court in Prague.
